CAMPAIGN FOR WOMEN'S REPRODUCTIVE RIGHTS
The Campaign for Women's Reproductive Rights (CWRR) in Melbourne has launched a national petition campaign for reproductive rights. The petition addresses the multiple attacks by anti-choice forces on women's rights to abortion, paid maternity leave and childcare. The campaign will conclude on International Women's Day (March 8) when it will be presented to the federal House of Representatives. CWRR would appreciate your participation by promoting the petition campaign in your networks, gathering signatures and mailing them to the address on the petition by March 1. Reclaim the Night
A Women's Annual Global March to Protest Men's Sexual Violence.
The philosophy of Reclaim The Night encourages grass roots participation in the organisation of events by as many women as possible. The Brisbane Reclaim the Night Collective will commence meeting from July 2005 to organise the 2005 RTN event. Email info@brissc.com.au to get involved.
The Redlands Reclaim the Night Collective is organising a rally - contact MARG or LEESE on 3820 6140
